Food Bank of the Golden Crescent: Each year the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent distributes 4M pounds of food to its member agencies in 11 counties; enough food to provide 2,666,666 meals. The Food Bank working with 100 food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters touches the lives of more than 25,000 men, women, children and senior citizens living at or below the poverty level. Working in partnership with our various communities we are truly “Helping to Heal the Hurt of Hunger”!

The Harbor Children’s Alliance and Victim Center and Benevolent Fund: A chief function of The Harbor is to assist victims of child abuse and neglect, sexual assault and domestic violence through crisis intervention, providing resources, arranging counseling, forensic interviews of children, case management and accompanying victims to medical exams, law enforcement and court. Another function is to provide awareness and prevention education for the community concerning topics relating to child abuse/neglect, sexual assault and domestic violence.
